The Trans-Siberian Railway (or, as it was called before, the Great Siberian Railway) is longer than any railway line on our planet, it was being built for almost a quarter of a century - from 1891 to 1916, and its total length is 9 288 kilometers.
A non-stop journey on the fastest train will take more than six days. We invite you to enjoy major cities and sights during our two-week tour.
Traditionally, we will start in Moscow, which is a bustling business center of Russia. However, along with tall skyscrapers, there are many ancient buildings and monuments that preserve the history of our country.
After boarding on train, we will start our journey to Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan Republic. We will see the Kazan Kremlin, which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Kul-Sharif Mosque, built quite recently, is located in the Kremlin, striking in its size and beauty of decoration.
The next stops on your way will be Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk. Each on of this cities has its own style and historical importance for Russia.
Finally we will get to Lake Baikal. Here we will enjoy breathtaking views of the deepest lake in the world, immerse in local traditions and enjoy tasty and hearty Siberian food.
Ulan-Ude — last Russian city on this journey. Next stop is the exotic Asia: Mongolia — Ulan Bator, Chinese Beijing.

City tour around Kazan. The Tatar capital is situated on the picturesque banks of the Volga river. We will have a folklore program and visit the Kazan Kremlin.
During lunch, some secrets of Tatar cuisine will be revealed in a culinary master class.

Arrival in Yekaterinburg
City tour will be dedicated to the last days of Tsar Nicholas I. You will see the Church on Blood, which commemorates a tragic historical event.
After lunch, we will visit the memorial which stands in two continents (Europe and Asia) at the same time.

City tour around Novosibirsk will include Railway Museum, Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre, ancient streets, Ob River esplanade.

Arrival in Irkutsk
City tour around Irkutsk, including a visit to the Decembrists’ Museum, the «wooden lace» house, also called the «House of Europe», which is considered the signature of the city.
After lunch in a local restaurant we will visit the Taltsy Museum of Architecture and Ethnography located in a picturesque place on the right bank of the Angara River.
Free time at the 130 Quarter — Irkutskaya Sloboda, which was created to preserve the historical architecture of the city.
Departure from Irkutsk
Arrival in Port Baikal. Boat trip to Listvyanka.
Today we will enjoy breathtaking views of the lake from different points. We will explore Listvyanka, see Chersky Stone and a beautiful view on the southern part of the lake and the source of the Angara River. We will also visit the Baikal Museum which shows the flora and fauna of the lake.
After lunch, we will go to the local fish and souvenir market and then return to Port Baikal.
In the evening, we will have a picnic on the shore of the lake.
Arrival to Ulan-Ude
Buryatia repeats the contours of the lake from the south and east. It is a mysterious land that has preserved its original nature. It is also a center of Buddhism, which absorbed the national culture of the East and West. Here you will be welcomed in a Buryat yurt and see a traditional Buryat folklore program. Hospitable Buryats will teach you how to cook the traditional Buryat dish pozy, how to play dice, use a bow, wear a traditional Buryat costume, assemble and disassemble a yurt.

Arrival in Ulan Bator.
After visiting the main square and Zaisan, we will be transfered to the camp of Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, where we will settle a yurt.
During the excursion to the Turtle Rock after lunch, we will enjoy beautiful scenery of the surrounding area. Hiking tour to the top of overlooking hill will give an outstanding view of the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park.
You will visit a nomadic family, learn their authentic lifestyle and culture of Mongolian nomads as well as try traditional dairy food. If you wish to make the trip even more exciting, take an hour-long horse riding experience (as an option). We will also learn how to build a smaller Mongolian yurt.

During the City tour we will visit Gandan Monastery, Mongolian Natural History Museum and Winter Palace of the Bogd Khan.
We will enjoy a folk show after Mongolian-style BBQ.

Arrival in Beijing.
City tour: visiting Tiananmen Square which can fit about a million people. Here the National Museum of China, the Great Hall of the People, the majestic Monument to the People’s Heroes and Forbidden City are situated.
