The tower on Mount Akhun is the most famous observation platform of Sochi. It seems that it has been there for centuries. In fact, it was built in 1936, when Joseph Stalin, who loved to spend time in the Khostinsky district at his dacha, climbed the mountain, admired the views and ordered to elevate this place: to build a road to Akhun and a viewing tower.
You can enjoy incredible views from the top: look to the north, and you will see the snow-capped Caucasus Mountains, look to the east to admire Adler, look to the west to contemplate Sochi.
After visiting the mountains, you will get a sea walk to look at the famous resort from the other angle.
