We will visit the railway museum located in the restored station building. It shows the history of a unique engineering structure - the Circum-Baikal Railway. Here we will examine a real old steam locomotive.
Next, we will take a “Khivus” tour on the Circum-Baikal Railway. This is the most difficult to build and most expensive section of the Trans-Siberian Railway. We will examine tunnels and galleries, bridges and retaining walls. We will go ashore and visit 1-2 tunnels.
After that, we will go to the center of Baikal. Here, between the eastern and western shores of the lake, the historical Seredina station is recreated. At the beginning of the 20th century, it served as a place to warm up and relax for those traveling through Lake Baikal.
