Сameron Gallery in Catherine Park not far away from St. Petersburg.
The idea to built a Gallery belonged to Empress Catherine II for walks and philosophical conversations and was designed by Charles Cameron. It is located on the hillside, on the border of the regular and landscape parts of the Catherine Park.
In 1780–1790, bronze busts were installed in the gallery - a unique collection, preserved in its historic place, chosen for it by Catherine II.
There is a beautiful view of the Big Pond and the landscape park from the gallery. Its colonnade is visible from afar.
