Surprisingly, this fabulous castle is located in the Samara region, on the banks of the Kuibyshev Reservoir.
Gothic towers, rising above the landscapes of Samara, look like a mirage. The castle was built by order of a local businessman who named it after his father - Garibaldi Arkadevich.
Construction began in 2006 and continues to this day. Sculptures of griffins and knights, bas-reliefs, own coat of arms, elegant spiers – everything here in the best traditions of the Middle Ages.
According to the plan, the Garibaldy Castle will become a large tourist complex. So far, only the area around the castle and the park with paths, flower beds and a fountain are open. A bridge leads over the real moat to the castle courtyard.
Legends have already appeared at the castle. For example, if you take a photo with a statue of Beowulf at the southern facade and try on his helmet, it will bring good luck.
