METRO STATION "CSKA" (eng. CSCA) Big circle line. Is named after the nearby sports facilities of the Army's Central Sports Club.
In February 2016, the fans of CSKA club sent an open letter to the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, asking to approve the decision to assign the station the name "CSKA". 8072 people signed the letter. The station was opened on February 26, 2018 as part of the "Business Center" - "Petrovsky Park". Since
then, there have been 212 stations in the Moscow metro.
The exit from the station leads to the Sports Palace "Megasport", one of the
largest sports facilities in Moscow. Here, various sports tournaments are held - hockey, figure skating, gathering under the arches of the stadium about 15 thousand spectators.
The new station will help fans to reach the sports center easily, and also provide accessible metro to nearby houses. There is also a big shopping centre AVIAPARK, not far from the station.
