Kizhi Museum Reserve is one of the largest open-air museums in Russia.
Kizhi is an architectural ensemble of two wooden churches and a bell tower of the XVIII – XIX centuries, built without nails.
This is one of the main Russian attractions. It is located on the Kizhi island on the Lake Oneja and is part of the Kizhi State Historical and Architectural Museum. This is a great place to learn history and crafts.
The Kizhi Pogost Ensemble is on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.
