Moscow Metro to be extended to Vnukovo Aeroport
Moscow authorities have confirmed Solntsevskaya metro line extention to Vnukovo airport.

It is expected that two new stations (Pykhtina and Vnukovo) will follow the current Rasskazovka station (opened in August 2018). Their opening is scheduled for 2022. The future station will be fully integrated into the airport infrastructure in order to provide comfort for passengers.

The Moscow metro in general has ambitious development plans. The Lublin-Dmitrov line (light green) in the north will be extended to the Severny district. By 2023, three new stations will be opened: "800th Anniversary Street of Moscow", "Lianozovo" and "North Village".

The first section of the new Kommunarskaya line was also approved, from Sevastopol Prospect to Novators Street. Then this site will be extended in the direction of the new Novomoskovsk district of Moscow.
