Astoria Hotel in St. Petersburg: Reader’s Choice Awards nominee

The editors select the nominees for the long list, after which readers vote for them. The main value of the rating - it reflects the opinion of guests
This year, the Astoria Hotel in St. Petersburg was included in the three Reader’s Choice Awards. The only representative of Russia became the fifth among the best hotels in Europe, the second in Northern Europe and the 16th among the hotels of the world.
Astoria is located in the very center of the Northern capital, next to St. Isaac's Cathedral. It was built in 1911-1912 according to the project of the architect Fedor Lidval. For more than a century of history, the hotel has been visited by a huge number of famous guests, it remains the cultural center of St. Petersburg to this day.
The heart of the hotel is the luxurious Rotonda Lounge. Astoria includes 169 rooms, 8 conference rooms, the Astoria restaurant, the famous Lichfield bar, and its own beauty salon.
